On November 7, 2019, Prof. Dr. Mine Özyurt Kılıç, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Barış Alpaslan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences, visited Prof. Dr. M. Öcal Oğuz, President of Turkish National Commission for UNESCO.

In the frame of "ASBU YDF Seminars,"  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milica Jotov who is from the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade gave a speech entitled "Tea Ceremony in Japan and Turkey" on 8 October 2019.

After the speech, Japanese tea ceremony was performed and the prepared teas were served to the seminar guests.
