SSUA Oriantation Program for New Students

Lecturing at the orientation program that aimed to facilitate the social and academic integration of new students into the institution, Professor Dr. Mehmet BARCA started his speech by thanking the students for choosing our university. Barca then stated that “University is supposed to help you develop your independent thinking skills, besides that you are required to set your goals and strive to forge your own path.” He put that the eagerness to learn new things is crucially essential in this respect. He said SSUA not only attaches importance to academic achievement but also targets to raise students’ awareness of social responsibility and scientific interests. The second day of the orientation program contunied with Professor Julie Ann AYDINLI’s welcome speech, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the speeches of the ELL Professors.
