Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, our faculty member, is assigned to be the "Dean" of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at our University. Prof. Güneş was born in Ünye, Ordu in 1966. Having obtained his BA from the Department of English Language and Literature, Hacettepe University in 1991 and MA from the University of Dundee in 1994, he completed his PhD studies at Liverpool John Moores University in 1999. He worked at Kafkas University in Kars between 1999 and 2007, at International University of Sarajevo between 2007 and 2011, and at Karabük University between 2011 and 2018. He became associate professor in 2007 and full professor in 2012. As of 23 July 2018, Prof. Güneş has begun to work at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Foreign Languages, ASBU.
